FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE IDI-ABA ABEOKUTA HOSTS 105th REGULAR MEETING OF COMMITTEE OF CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTORS AND MEDICAL DIRECTORS OF FEDERAL TERTIARY HOSPITALS IN NIGERIA
The Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, Abeokuta will be hosting a meeting of the Committee of Chief Medical Directors and Medical Directors of Federal Tertiary Hospitals in Nigeria from Wednesday 6th – 10th March, 2024.
The objectives of the quarterly meeting of the Chief Executives of Tertiary Hospitals in Nigeria include the “promotion of activities that are geared towards bringing about positive changes required in making the Federal Tertiary Hospitals more responsive to the health needs of individuals, families and the nation.”
A News Release from the Spokesperson for the hospital, Mr. Segun Orisajo said some of the recently completed projects will be Commissioned during the meeting by the Minister of State for Health, Dr Tunji Alausa.
Dignitaries expected at the event include the Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo while former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR will be Father of the Day among others.
The Chief host and Medical Director of the hospital, Prof.Adewale Musa-Olomu has assured his colleagues of a lasting experience in Abeokuta.
” We are not leaving anything to chances. Adequate security and logistic measures were being taken to ensure a hitch free meeting.
” The forthcoming meeting is definitely going to be a memorable one for all my colleagues who will be in Abeokuta for the historic meeting.
