The Management of Federal Medical Centre, Idi Aba, Abeokuta has taken delivery of a consignment of some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from the Nigeria Centre for Diseases Control (NCDC)

The donation of the PPE was made possible by the unrelenting efforts of the Medical Director, Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu who had being on the neck of NCDC for sometime.
The items received by the Centre include PPEs, face masks, gloves among others.
Receiving the items, the Medical Director appreciated the NCDC for its quick response to the hospital’s request assuring that the items received will be judiciously utilized.
“This will not be the first time we shall be receiving this kind of assistance from the NCDC
“” I wish to commend the NCDC for always honouring our request on the supply of PPEs and other intervention
“I have always maintained that the current administration in the Centre is after the welfare of the entire members of staff, that we shall not deny them their dues and will always watch over their backs in and out of duty”
The Medical Director said he hoped that the latest arrival of the PPEs will put an end to unfounded information being spread around by some individuals as to whether the Centre has PPEs.
He thanked the staff for their understanding and perseverance urging them not to deter nor be wearied in the discharge of their responsibilities.
